Spanish learning log #1

I started making flash cards on March 28, 2016, and I’m around 150 or 200 already. The technique feels difficult and clumsy, but there are plenty of words I know I need to turn into cards. My first card was for ‘pajaro’.

My daily study routine takes 20-35 minutes, depending upon the number of new cards I’m studying. I do at least two Duolingo lessons, and also review my Anki deck. This barely fits on my train ride into the office. The default settings provide a solid workload, not too much, and I think I’m learning a lot already. So far I’m having fun!
